Kikujiro

`Yo! Sweet cakes! Ever heard about Takeshi's Castle? Yes ofcourse you have heard it, atleast my Indian and Japanese friends, ever wondered who was Takeshi? It's all time favorite, my hero Beat Takeshi!

*Beat Takeshi beat takeshi Sugggee beat takeshi*

Geekology O-O
Beat Takesh- Sorry, Takeshi Kitano is a filmmaker, script writer, actor, film editor, actor, screen writer, authour, poet and a painter, sheesh he has his talent agency Office Kitano. Also known as "Beat Takeshi"

Honestly I don't happen to know about his "other" jobs but I am familiar with the actor part.

Soo

Kikujiro.

Hmm, so this the first movie that I haven't watched yet but written a reccomandation, what I found out till now was Kikujiro is a movie about a young boy who is in search of his mother in his summer vacations, film is divided into chapters, like a diary, a kid's diary... The boy befriends a quiet natured and sober gambler who gambles to feed his family... together on this adventures, still I have to find what is on their wayIt's weird that Takeshi's father's name was Kikujiro Kitano and it is said that it was his inspiration.

Here are few trailers that I found

What else but one of my favorite musicians Joe Hisaishi is the composer of the tracks

Here is a track named Summer by Joe Hisaihi

The Motorcycle Diaries

Hungry for adventure?

Want to change the world?

The system keeping you awake at nights?

Let the world change you and then You can change the world.

Before you navigate away from this page, let me just tell you this refreshingly classic movie,
Senor el la Senoritas I present you

The Motorcycle diaries.

Have you seen this person somewhere?

Maybe on someone's jeans, or bag, or handgear on a dorm room poster... but who is he?
Senor Che or to be respectful : Earnesto Guevara

Let's not get personal now..I'll talk about Che later..
but a little Geekology O-O:

The movie is about a diary that traces the early travels of Che Guevera(23 year old) and his friend Alberto Granado (29 year old) then, to travel 8,000 kilometres (5,000 mi) across South America on an old 500cc single cylinder Norton motorcycle which messes up often. Travelling through the heart wrenching conditions of miners, communists and people affected by leprosy in Latin America. Guevera was a hero in a man awakened by coming face to poverty, injustice, exploitation and pain.

Hmm, so it's not new setting up a movie after the life of a rebel or a national hero, for anyone out there who doesn't happen to know che, go read his wiki please!

The cinematography, acting, music and scenes are amazing as the director Walter Salles convinces us of the journey about 50 years ago... the sad part is South America is still the same :(

Here is what actor Gael García Bernal has to say

"We were re-enacting a journey that was done 50 years ago, and what's surprising is that the social problems of Latin America are the same. Which is heartbreaking in a way, but it also makes you feel how important it is to tell the story."

Gael García Bernal

The music is awesome and refreshing, it will take back to your teenage when you wanted to change everything, or even now if you aren't already given up! Great tracks by Gustavo Santaolalla

Che quotes ^_^

"You gotta fight for every breath and tell death to go to hell."

"What do we leave behind when we cross each frontier? Each moment seems split in two; melancholy for what was left behind and the excitement of entering a new land"

"All of them, all those who can’t adapt – you and I, for instance – will die cursing the power which they helped bring about with often enormous sacrifices. Revolution is impersonal, so it will take their lives and even use their memory as an example or as an instrument to control the young people coming after them…you will die with your fist clenched and your jaw tense, the perfect manifestation of hatred and struggle, because you aren’t a symbol (some inanimate example), you are an authentic member of the society to be destroyed; the spirit of the beehive speaks through your mouth and moves through your actions. You are as useful as I am, but you don’t realize how useful your contribution is to the society that sacrifices you."

Films

Films are something that break me, bound me, make me cry and laugh... the world's greatest stories put up by some unique people out there are most marvelous form of art that can exist... For a some moments, for sometime, it snatches your neck and takes you to it's own reality, it's own little universe that you follow without even a shadow of doubt...
It is amazing how the actors, directors, the musicians and every person involved in the production dedicatedly is able to produce this magic... Life is waste without a romance for adventure, inn'it? Life is a mystery just like all these masterpieces waiting to be seen... another passage to a beautiful heart of a director, actor, musician and a author...
The greatest films are the ones who are so beautiful they are sad... heart wrenching, a sudden shock and one that makes you cry... that is the greatest success of a storyteller.I hope we will be able to review some films... good or bad as I get enough time to write about them... I am not a critic... I mostly note what I like in films.. I totally admire these people and that's my goal...

STORYTELLER...
